This allows for 25km/hr maximum power assist. DIY or non-compliant e-Bikes are not permitted. There will be checks and monitoring of the e-bike speed capability, attached devices, and product apps. All top 3 riders' bikes will be checked at the finish line and if found non-compliant, riders will be disqualified. The 42km Traditional Course now offers a NON COMPETITIVE E-Bike option. This is intended for riders who would like to ride their E-Bike with their mates at the mid or back end of the field. E-Bikes in the 42km course are excluded from placings and awards and are not allowed to 'race' the course.
Event Cancellation- Outer Limits reserves the right to cancel the event at any time due to matters beyond its control (examples: natural disasters, inclement weather, direction from governing bodies, major accidents during the race etc.).
